Free Life Story workshops for adopters
Coram's free Life Story workshops are aimed at helping adopters to share painful information with their adopted children about their past.
Coram has secured grant funding from the Department for Education to be able to provide adoptive parents with free Life Story workshops facilitated by Joy Rees, author of Life Story Books for Adopted Children. A Family Friendly Approach.
The workshops will consider how to share painful information with children at different stages of development, giving practical examples and opportunities to consider a range of examples.
Who are the Life Story workshops for?
They are designed for - and priority of places will be given to - adopters who already have children placed with them.
