Big Adoption Day Information Session, Coram Capital (London), 16 March 2016
If you are interested in understanding more about adoption and hearing about the experiences of adoptive parents, please come along to one of our Big Adoption Day information events here at our London campus
We are holding two sessions, both with the same programme.
Session 1 starts at 5pm, with refreshments and finishes at 6.45pm.
Session 2 starts at 7.15pm with refreshments and ends at 9.00pm.
During our informal sessions, you’ll hear about the adoption process and will have the chance to ask our friendly social workers any questions you may have.
There will be the first showing of an exciting animation inspired by young adopted children called “What young adopted people want adopters to know”.
We have also asked some of our wonderful adopters to come along and talk to you about the different stages of their adoption journeys including training and preparation, support when a child joins your family and the additional services that Coram offers including parenting courses for all our families and access to Creative Therapies.
We welcome people from all backgrounds who are interested in adopting.
Coram offers lifelong support to adoptive families, and are here for families for as long as they need. As the UK’s first children’s charity, Coram runs one of the most successful voluntary adoption agencies in the country.
Big Adoption Day on 16 March, is a national adoption event being held to reinforce the message that adopters continue to be needed for our most vulnerable children in the care system.
To attend either one of these sessions please contact us using the details on this page.
