“We’d heard the process can be difficult and take a long time, but after a meeting a Coram social worker we felt instantly lifted
“We were approved as adopters within a year, and matched to Thomas, our son, who was three years old. He had been living in care for three years with a foster family.
“Our Coram social worker really got to know us, and the match was excellent. Thomas had lived in a rural area with female siblings, and had always liked animals and had lots of pets. We also have a daughter, Emily and live in the countryside with animals.
“Thomas loves walking the dogs and playing outdoors, and he has a great relationship with our daughter.
“The thing that is so reassuring is that we know we can contact Coram with any issues we have, and that they will support us and our little boy in future. They have been brilliant.
“I truly believe that we were meant to find Thomas and give him the home that he loves and is happy in today.”
