Ambitious for adoption in Redbridge
The number of children being successfully adopted in Redbridge has greatly increased since the borough began working with Coram in 2012
Coram's work in London has been judged 'Outstanding' in every category by Ofsted.
In Redbridge we are helping to ensure that more children waiting to be adopted have the best chance of stability, and of forming secure loving attachments as early as possible.
Working in partnership to change children's lives
Cabinet Member for Children and Young People at Redbridge Council, Cllr Elaine Norman said:
Adoption can really change a child’s life
"I’m delighted that through this partnership we’re in a stronger position to find prospective family homes for vulnerable children in our borough. A regional agency enables us to widen the net of potential adopters, share expertise and ideas and ensure children and adopters get a consistent level of support. I’d really like to encourage anyone in Redbridge who has considered adoption to get in touch.”
